The Lord is MY Shepherd I shall not Want!!!!!!! What is the reality that you walk in today. Is Christ your sufficiency?
All Spiritual warfare is waged over one essential question.
Who will control reality on Earth, Heaven or Hell? What reality controls your life? Is your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness and self control, based on the facts of your earthly life or the facts of your Heavenly life? David said The Lord Is My Shepherd I Shall Not Want. Is that because David had every good pleasure he could possibly have asked for while here on earth. Big bank account, power, along with the perfect family. I think not I don't believe David had any of these things at the time he wrote the 23rd Psalm. I believe when he states "I shall not want" it was because deep within him a work had been done in his heart that caused him to be at complete rest despite what the reality of his life said. The lie of the enemy appears most powerfully when men believe that this world as it is is the only world we can live in. Jesus said repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. When I choose to operate in Gods kingdom, according to the standards of his reign and rule, no ailment this world throws at me has the power to unseat me from the Love of God. "No weapon formed against me will prosper". There is a place of peace, fullness and complete contentment that I can walk in despite what all the earthly facts of my life say. No money no problem, no husband no problem, derelict wife, absent father, terrible job, bad kids etc.....The Lord id My Shepherd I shall not want. Frances Frangipane writes we will not know the fullness of Christ we can not live in the power of his resurrection until we stop reacting to every earthly circumstance that is hurled our way.
Psalm 118:5-6 "When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord: He brought me into a spacious place.
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD I SHALL NOT WANT.
God bless hope you have a great day in the Lord today wherever you choose to worship.
