Thursday was adventures with Dad day for me and the girls.We took the boat and headed to the Atchafalaya basin. If your ever that way stop in at the Atchafalaya welcome center located about halfway between Baton Rouge and Lafayette. They give you a history and the significance of the Basin. Next we took the boat and did some exploring up and down the Atchafalaya river and its many tributaries. It was truly the day that the Lord had made and we rejoiced and were glad.
