The restoration of KJ Singing Waters Ranch?

I want to take a minute to thank you for the interest you have shown in the Camp Singing Waters restoration project. It’s been great to reconnect with so many from the past. Just last week I corresponded with a past counselor. You might remember Jazz he served in the mid to late 80s, he reminded me that it was at Camp Singing Waters that in his words he said “I really fell in love with the Lord”. He went on to say that he is a teacher and continues to disciple high school students today, some 25 years later because of the influence that the ministry had on him back in the day. I also had lunch with a former ranch hand he spent six years at the camp and he spoke of the influence that the camp ministry had on his life as well. When I say ministry, I’m not speaking about some ambiguous force, I’m speaking about the Love of God being poured out on individuals lives. Thats what made the difference in the camp in those days, God met us time and time again and changed lives were the result.

So what is this restoration thing all about? Well its not just about land and buildings, its about restoring a place where once again God can do what God loves to do, change lives with his incredible love. Now you might be asking well can’t God do that any where? And the answer is yes he can. But I also believe that there are physical places that are very strategic to the Kingdom of God, and Camp singing Waters is one of them. I also believe that God is calling many of you to help make this restoration possible in order that the generations to come will have a place to go, and not only hear about the love of God but also experience it as well.

What do we need to make this restoration project a reality. As I have said before I have signed a lease to purchase agreement with the current owner. God through many of you have already provided over 20,000.00 as down payment. Over the course of the next 6 months we need an additional 450,000.00 of the remaining 630,000.00 needed to buy the place out right. The owner is willing to then owner finance the remaining 170,000.00. It is my ultimate desire that Singing Waters become completely debt free never to fall in disrepair again. Yes there are a lot of buildings that have to be restored or either torn down completely. But we can’t get started on the building projects until we get the land squared away. Please pray about what the Lord would have you give towards this project. No gift is to small. I believe if we all get behind it then it doesn’t have to be a burden on any one person.
