"Even when I an old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come."        Ellen and I were blessed to be able to pray for and visit with Torrey an LSU athlete. She came to Christ last year at our FCA college athletes retreat.  Torrey was a part of  the leadership camp this past week. Torrey is on the LSU Track and Field team and throws the disc and shot put. She will be competing in the NCAA Track and Field National Championships this week in Eugene, Oregon. She has hopes of one day competing in the olympics and professionally all the while using her athletic abilities as a platform for Christ. Did I mention that she loves Jesus, and has the smile to prove it?
